July 16, 2025 – Plainview, NY – Hunt Corporate Services, Inc. (Plainview) announced today that Great Neck Tools (Mineola) has sold one of their industrial buildings, located at 47-49 Jersey Street in West Babylon, NY to M&A Realty Ventures, LLC. David G. Hunt, president of Hunt, exclusively represented the seller. The buyer was represented by Luciano Oliverio of Summit Commercial Real Estate Group.
Hunt has represented Great Neck Tools as their exclusive real estate representative in many transactions over the past 30 years. “The building at 47-49 Jersey Street was one of their production facilities, used to manufacture handles for screwdrivers. It totals 24,000 square feet, and is situated on 1.3 acres,” said Mr. Hunt. He continued, “Great Neck Tool was one of the last heavy manufacturing hold outs on Long Island. However, the high cost of utilities, real estate taxes and labor on Long Island make competition with much lower cost environments very difficult. Today, Great Neck Saw now owns over 300,000 square feet in Memphis,Tennessee. All manufacturing operations are now closed on Long Island.”
Great Neck Tools is a leading global supplier to the hardware, home improvement, sporting good, mass retail and automotive markets. They have distribution and manufacturing facilities around the world.
